95% of Everything is Junk

I am an unabashed fan of Edward Tufte, the Da Vinci of graphical analysis, for the fresh perspective he brings to the display of scientific information. In a recent posting at the Washington Post’s On Leadership website, Tufte discusses his creative looting from other fields and his talent for finding the 5% of useful information within the literature of any field. My favorite quote:
